The conductive vein is a specialized thread spun from stainless steel fibers that has a low resistance of 10ohm. Most conductive fibers are nylon coated in silver plating. While these fibers can be run through a sewing machine, over time the plaiting will wear off. We went with 100% stainless steel fiber for the longevity of conductive use. Due to the hairiness of this fiber, it is lovingly stitched by hand.
