The falls of this flogger are made with black oil-tanned cowhide. They have a semi-stiffness and weight that delivers that perfect sweet spot between thud and sting. There's a catch though. Hidden inside the falls is a single strand of chain, and on occasion, you may experience the brutality of being struck by it when the falls open up. This flogger is a little mental mindfuck, because you don't know what you'll receive.
As an added bonus, you can detach the chain. Please note the counter-balance of the handle was made with the chain attached, so it may lean to the hilt without the chain. I would recommend this toy for heavy players.

First off, this had way more heft than I expected (not a bad thing at all). It fits my hand well, the colors are gorgeous, and the chain is easy to remove if you don't want to use it. Beyond happy with this purchase!
